My friend, George Mizer, was a longtime friend of Peter Banks and tour manager for the band Flash. He posted this to Facebook, and the short trailer on YouTube is well worth checking out!!

Hi,

Definitely worth checking out. His later work with David Cross is amazing, as is a lot of his solo material at the time. He deserved a lot better recognition, but I think we were too stuck on the stars and the stripes of the top ten to bother. The recent releases of this material has helped show what we missed and did not listen to because of the stars and their stripes.

Thanks for your responses! I think Peter was largely overlooked in the prog universe, although his playing was, at many times, stellar!! He seemed to get better and better as time passed.....from his Steve Vai-like noodling on 1993's "Instinct" to his last recordings on Days Between Stations "In Extremis."

Poor guy admits to having biopolar depression, which is a horrible condition that runs in my family. I'm looking forward to this project, his longtime friend George Mizer will make sure it is truthful and fascinating.
