OK! I listened to the "deluxe" version of Lizard by King Crimson and came up with a neat idea for a geeky prog poll. As nearly everyone on the planet who doesn't live under a rock is aware by now, Gordon Haskell's bassline for Bolero - A Peacock's Tale was rerecorded by Tony Levin for a compilation album called Frame by Frame: The Essential King Crimson. The "deluxe" version of Lizard conveniently features both recordings!

I like both, but I find the original's loose feel slightly more fitting.

Normally, I would know of such trivia. However, I'm finding it hard to recognize anything under the shadow of this lithic weight upon me.

Very hard to choose, but I went with Tony Levin.
