Not too keen on the format of the band name, but it is ALL HANDS_MAKE LIGHT.

I'm not writing a proper bio now because the last couple of times I wrote bios for Post-Rock for my suggestions and asked to add it, it got added by others, and my bio was not used (different teams work differently). That said, I will very happily add if requested, which of course would include writing a bio (they take me a while to write often and I try to use my own words and make them original/unique).

A reason why I am suggesting this now is because this would be one of my albums of the year (2023) and we are getting set up on that list so hoping to have it included before that closes for entries.

The band has released two albums, one in 2021 called ALL HANDS_MAKE LIGHT and one in 2023 called Darling the Dawn.

Here is the playlist for Darling the Dawn on youtube.

My favourite track on it is "The Sons and Daughters of Poor Eternal"

The project was launched in 2020 after Engle, associated with AroarA and Broken Social Scene, and Menuck, a member of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, decided to work on something together, and took shape through filesharing over the internet after the COVID-19 pandemic limited opportunities to collaborate in person.[1] They released their self-titled debut album in 2021, and gave their first live performances including an appearance at the 2021 Pop Montreal festival.[1]

They followed up in 2023 with Darling the Dawn,[2] which was longlisted for the 2023 Polaris Music Prize.[3]

I'm listening to The Sons And Daughters Of Poor Eternal as I'm typing this post. Really good stuff.

I see no problems in replacing the current bio with yours, or at least merge, if you think it's the case. Which artist(s) in particular?

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

On chart.

First listen of the two tracks above here:

"A Sparrow's" Lift has a bit of United Bible Studies while "The Sons And Daughters..." sounds like early Pink Floyd, a sort of Waters/Wright of the Syd Barrett era.

While I'm writing I'm listening to "We Living On A F. Planet". and it's clear enough that each track has its own mood. I'll listen to both the albums.

^ Thanks. As for the bios, there's no need. I'm fine with what was presented. I only mentioned it due to the Suggest New Bands forum expectation that the suggester provide the bio. I'd be fine preparing the addition, or not. And yes, there is some variety to this Post-Rock/Neo Psyche project.
