Man. Never in my life have I had to let an album sink in to my brain for me to like it. I usually like it or don't right off the bat, but this was not the case with Dornenreich - Hexenwind. I was very surprised at the HUGE change they took since their Her Von Welken Nachten album (which was an amazing black metal release with a few acoustic tracks.) This is very far removed from that. While it is not all acoustic it is all mellow. All very hard to digest when you were expecting another hard-hitting melodic black metal album ... but let it enter your mind. Let it develop. This album, I have no doubt has possibilities of being a favorite of even those who do not like black metal. Please. Do yourself a favor. Get this now. -------------
