Since yesterday I have the same problem when I try to edit other members' posts in https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=82726&PN=524" rel="nofollow - our team's thread (I have this permission for many years).

Neither did I. Smile

I can't post any more polls until the problem is fixed, although some may see that as a good thing. Tongue

That only happens after I’ve created a long, well thought out, response to an interesting post.

I’m not kidding, though. For long posts, I copy and paste from notes.

I can't even edit my blogs today without getting a "Blocked" message. Disapprove

^ M@X was logged in to the forum last night not long before Eugene tried in vain to edit the posts that he'd dealt with in the E&O thread, so it would seem that he might have done some more tweaks to the site. Ermm

If the problem persists, it might be worth reporting it in the https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=134412" rel="nofollow - New Format thread, since M@X does at least usually look at that one when he visits.

I have activated multiples BOTS PROTECTION from CloudFlare yesterday, it is probably that.

Message to thoses who are affected, what is your Web browser and what potential extensions might cause this.

Please share , it'll help me fix that fast.

Okay, thanks for letting me know. I'm using a Brave browser on an Acer Aspire laptop.

Yes, I'm still able to access the main page, but when I tried to post something on a couple of my blogs this morning, I was blocked both times. Confused

I just tried updating my Easy Listening blog, but still got blocked twice in a row. Confused

Strangely though, I haven't had any problems with posting here on this thread. Smile

^ On my side, everything is back to normal (with Google Chrome). Maybe Paul should close his browser and restart ? Or try Incognito mode ?

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll shut my laptop down and restart it and hope for the best. Smile

My Easy Listening Lounge blog below, although I have finally managed to update it now after being blocked three times in a row, so hopefully, Max has fixed the problem now. Thumbs Up

I was getting it when I tried to copy and paste code from Mike's AwesomeProg site. It seemed erratic in terms of sometime blocking me but not always. Particularly when I tried to share my 1975 list on Dougs poll.

Just when I thought it was safe to post a long message without first copying & pasting, I just got blocked three times in a row when I tried to update my Laurel Canyon blog. Disapprove

^ I'm luckier with posts in our team's thread - I can edit them without being blocked.

I just experienced this bizarre and particularly odious problem trying to send a PM (luckily I back up everything these days as the site is on the verge of breaking)

EDIT: FWIW, when I deleted all the previous messages and sent a reply with just mine, everything went through without a hitch.

I'm still getting blocked today every time I try and edit my Legends of Laurel Canyon blog, having tried to update it unsuccessfully at least ten times in a row now. Ouch

I'm again having trouble posting from home (where I use Mozilla/Firefox) and the post text window does not show. I can vote, but not post.

From work (I am imposed Edge) it's business as usual.

Did you try private browsing to see if you have the same issue?

I'm not using a VPN if that's what you're implying

From work, logging in PA with Firefox  and posting seems to be no issue (doing that right now)

Not yet, but I'm hoping, then I can get back to doing some more polling. Smile
