I think Paul McCartney & Wings are going to run away with this poll. Smile

Band on the Run - one of the finest Beatle solo albums along with Plastic Ono Band, Imagine, and All Things Must Pass

Band On The Run. Recorded in Lagos in Nigeria and was apparently a terrible experience including the McCartney's being robbed at gunpoint. Somehow they ended up with a great album. Go figure!

Been years since I last listened to it, but I have loved Band on the Run.

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I observed before. It can be much like that with music for me; immersed in experiencing the moment.

Band on the Run was one of the first albums in my collection, but even without that sentimental connection it's one of the scant handful of truly essential Fabs solo albums.

The other three are all a bit meh, although they each have their moments. Ringo's Rotogravure features contributions from all three of his former bandmates, but was considered pretty underwhelming when it was released. It has aged quite well, but it is mildly enjoyable without being truly memorable.
