| Sadly, I don't know too much about them. Other than that they started as an exersize trying to fuse 12 Tone technique and post punk, which they rather humourously (in post-ironical fashion) set out in more detail than typical. And they have a conceptalbum about music criticism, which is narrated in a similar stream of consciousness narrating like black midi. This Band has Tons of Potential but are very young I Suppose. Something to watch out for. The Riff in a soviet artists response has a cool Riff (which is only possible through editing I suppose. |

I've done some searches but theres almost nothing about them on the web. I'm afraid that the only possibility to get some info is trying to contact the band from Bandcamp. It's a project of Auckland, New Zealand-based composer, producer and fingerstyle guitarist Charles D Giargiari (aka Charlie Jijari) and his partner, the classical pianist Sara Joy Meyer. They also release music of a more metallic nature under the moniker of another project called ' https://awesomeprog.com/artists/26054" rel="nofollow - Fronteeria ', as well as releasing more a retrained style of music simply as 'Charlie Jijari & Sara Joy Meyer'. Their various projects are all consolidated under Charles's music production company 'Uncharted Sounds', which he co-owns with San Francisco-based Sam Bronstein. Charles and Sara have both been diagnosed with ASD (autism spectrum disorder), and they met online in early 2021 in a social media group for autistic people. They soon discovered that their respective passions for music were remarkably close and similarly wide-ranging, with their shared love of the Swedish prog metal band Opeth becoming apparent very soon after they had met. They are both skilled improvisational musicians, and a long-distance relationship quickly developed, with Sara living in Auckland, New Zealand and Charlie living at the time in Boston, USA. They were unable to meet in person due to the Covid-19 restrictions, but they chatted on FaceTime everyday, and Charlie planned to move to New Zealand at the earliest opportunity. Charlie wrote most of the Fronteeria debut album 'How Eden Rose From Untilled Earth' while he was still in the USA, and he finally moved to Auckland in December 2022, where the two of them now live together.
