Here we look at the years 1997, 2007 and 2017. One vote. I'm going with Arcana's album. Tony Williams on drums, Bill Laswell on bass and electronics, Pharoah Sanders on sax plus Buckethead on guitar and more.

Yes, that Arcana album is awesome. But In Rainbows is something spcial to me (like so many Radiohead albums are)

The Art Zoyd album is probably Häxan, and that's my favourite with quite some distance. There's a nice Motorpsycho album though.

Yes it should be Haxan. I've tried to change it but it won't accept my changes. And thanks!

I spun this recently because of one of Paul's polls. Such an atmospheric album, heavy and melodic. Love it.

When I had my business I had an "In Rainbows" sticker on the side of my cash register. I received quite a few comments about it.

1997 is a favourite year of mine with the releases by GYBE!'s F#A, Portishead's s/t, Stereolab's Dots and Loops, Radiohead's OK Computer, and with Art Zoyd's Häxan, which gets my vote. From the poll, other than Häxan, I also particularly like Radiohead's In Rainbows, Setna's Cycle I and Motorpsycho's The Tower. Nice poll, as ever.

Nice selection with at least six albums worth voting for! Still not hard to choose: Unfolded Like Staircase is the only post-70's album in my top 5.

Thanks, and I originally had OK Computer in there, but when I decided to add In Ranbows I changed it. I honestly can't believe no has voted for any of the 2017 picks. Of course I didn't either.

That's the problem with adding too much good stuff from before, which isn't exactly a bad problem to have.

The Gathering - Nighttime Birds because the highs are really high, there is about six wonderful tracks and the other tracks are still very good.
