I just discovered this first solo album by Rick van der Linden, famous in prog circles for his stellar work in the groups Ekseption and Trace... this record has him as organ and harpischord accompanist to some classical music by Albinoni, Bach and Handel It is lovely, and quite impressive as well...

According to Wiki that is his first solo album as released in 1976 but when I looked on Apple music they have Old Friends, New Friends as a 1970 album rather than the 1985 release that is tagged as 1985 on wiki. Unfortunately, the Plays Abinoni,Bach,Handel album is not available to stream or at least I couldn't find it but it is available on you tube https://youtu.be/FZ9o0_t2DNI" rel="nofollow - Here is the link |
