I am not a fan of this poll, but there's maybe four I like and one that stands out of those. Can's Monster Movie is easily my pick with Le Orme the distant runner up, followed by Sky Architect and Ekos. There's several I don't know as well.

One Vote.

Woke up, again wasn't going to post, I gotta stop looking at the poll section. LOL. But I do enjoy these polls (and Paul is doing some I cannot resist).

It seems that I'm more of fan of your own poll than you are, John. These are my top 6:

Can - Monster Movie
Black Midi - Hellfire
Motorpsycho - Phanerothyme
Le Orme - Contrappunti
Mr. Sirius - Dirge
Corima - Quetzalcoatl

I am also going with Monster Movie, but I also would have loved to give a vote to black midi (and would have voted for more if multiple choice).

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

Compared to Mostly Autumn, most of the other albums in the poll are in the shade for me.

Le Orme and Can are clear favs, but I'll give some love to the mexican Ekos.

Mei and Excavations Of The Mind comes behind.

It appears that Echolyn and Mostly Autumn are getting most of the attention on this one. Brilliant statement I know, as I drink this dirty cup of expired coffee. But I am waking up.

I appreciate your posts, so thanks. I haven't heard that Motorpsycho album.

Nice to see this album get some votes. It seems like Metheny has released ay least one monster album per decade. This one's from the 90's.

Oh boy... it's been too long since I've heard Mostly Autumn. I used to say they were Folk's version of Floyd with a female singer. I like to over simplify.

I thought Black Midi might run away with this one. I'm personally not the biggest fan but I'd say the same about The Dear Hunter who caused a buzz on this site back when they came out, but they just weren't me.

So glad Ekos gets a vote. They were a Pink Floyd tribute band before doing their own thing.

They left us too soon. It's crazy that they were runner up in 2021 with Cavalcade but won the album of the year here in 2022 with Hellfire.
