About an hour ago, I was reading the main page and was happy to see a good review of the album “Vacucum” by The WATCH. For curiosity’s sake, I went and checked the album page to reed the other reviews and sure enough, the latest one was there too, as it should.
An hour later, however, the review disappeared - from both the main page and the album page. Since it was an informative review and contained no abusive language whatsoever, I wonder why it was deleted. Can a reviewer delete his/her own review? If not, who did and why?
Just curious...

That's what happens when you reed reviews.

Hibou,
Two reasons for the deletion:
- There was no actual review. The reviewer simply derided previous reviews which compared the band to Gabriel era Genesis.
- There was no valid e-mail address given. (I sent an e-mail to the reviewer which bounced)

Oh dear, now I'll have to take 'riting' courses to go along with my 'reeding' glasses

Hi Sean,
No, I'm afraid I haven't done any bio yet on Nessie. In fact, I don't even see the band listed in the Archives. Are you sure you've seen them on this site?
About my keeping quiet: well yes, I’m kind of low profile and like to do my bios quietly in the background. At least, I've done my share and added my little pic. to the Archives map .
Btw, I want to thank you for doing the bio for the band Flame Dream. I had written one last year but their guitarist (Dale Hauskins) had written to say it wasn’t accurate. So I asked Ron to delete it until we could get a proper one. Merci !

Ta petite photo me rendrait presque amoureux!
As for the bios, I do whatever I can but I have to have a minimum info in my reference book. I hate to search info on the web. So this is why I generally stick to older groups!
Your Cul De Sac bio made me curious about them , so I rented many of their cds and now most of them have reviews.
Bisous!
Hugues

Yes, Cul de Sac sounds tailor-made for you. Glad to see the bio made you curious. Btw, never hesitate to correct my bios when necessary. I may search the web thoroughly, listen to clips and get to know loads of new bands doing these bios, but errors do slip in at times.
As for my picture (ahh, c’est gentil ces bisous ), you were saying no one from Canada had yet shown up on the map. So I thought “Allons, Lise, fais un homme de toi” and I took the plunge .
Salut goglu!
