both are great, classic heavy progressive bands!! my vote will go for "black widow" (hhuummm...their black hymn "comes to the sabbat") despite that only a part of their discography has two feet in "satanism" (until IV) difficult & interesting vote! (I would like to see Arthur Brown mentionned above -------------

| Not that familiar with Black Widow, but I found 'Come To The Sabbat' a little cheesy, and I love Atomic Rooster's work so I'll vote for them. Songs like 'Death Walks Behind You', 'Winter', 'Nobody Else' and 'Machine' are very haunting. |

^ Totally agree (as if often the case) with Salmacis. Atomic Rooster were fabulous. Saw Atomic Rooster in '81 while at college a really good live band too.

Actually I voted wrong ! I think that BW is more satanic than AT !! so take one vote away from AT and place it on BW ------------- let's just stay above the moral melee prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |
