Hello, I would like to recommend a French band called Arkham. They relesead only one self-titled album in 1994, which is very good. Their music is chanson-oriented prog with a very good production. They have a female singer, a bassist, two guitarists, a drummer, a keyboardist and a violonist. The singer has often a very theatrical way of singing, and the overall ambience of the album is very dark.
