I don't like Cirkus as all...so,as much as it is not the greatest, looking for someone wins...

Cirkus is one of my favorite Crimson songs

Looking for someone is not one of my favorite Genesis songs.....

Looking for Someone still wins, well...

Just call it a tie.

Wait, how is Looking for Someone a good track? It's pretentiously arranged and embarrassingly lifeless. At least the rest of Trespass hinted at the heights Genesis'd later scale.

Cirkus is stunning; on a good day, the second best track on the best early period (69-71) KC album.

Don't like CirKus and love Looking for Someone, so the choice is obvious LFS

Pretentious and lifeless?

Well most good Prog Rock is pretentious, it's one of the main characteristics and that's why I love it, but Looking for Someone is anything but pretentious, starts as a ballad, has a couple of changes plus interesting keys and vocal work, I don't see any pretentiousnes, by the contrary, it's obne of the simplest songs by the band but incredibly beautiful.

No song performed by Peter Gabriel can be lifeless, he's the vocalist that provides more life and transmit more feelings than anyone. Gabriel and lifeless are two contraditory words.

Iván
