I thought it was about time I started to to help out a little on ProgArchives by adding a little bit of serious content, so I thought I'd mention this instrumental prog-metal band I have just "discovered"...

SYZYGY, from Perth, Western Australia ... my part of the world! (Another shared band name.)

Unfortuntely it would appear they are no more as of June 2005, but here is some info...

I just got today (via eBay) SYZYGY's 2000 release "Prominence". Not bad at all (not that an old fart like me can lay claim to knowing a lot about prog-metal).

Unfortunately the band's website quoted on the album does not appear to be there any more. It was http://www.syzygy.net.au - www.syzygy.net.au
