actually, i used to be dead on impressed by dream theater about 17 years ago (and, yes, AWAKE is still my favourite album by them which i still play quite regularily, nothing that came afterwards did ANYTHING for me at all, and metropolis II and the concert from that tour i saw were a cheesefest all the way) but i am now a kevin moore(chroma key)-die hard and my most anticipated platter of '06 would be OSI2. so there you go. besides, all these VS.-threads and polls do puzzle me. most of it is >apples to oranges< to me and the selections often do not even stand up against each other very well. i often have the impression that most of these polls are just by people getting off on namedropping their favourites... anyway, just my opinion. that's the end of VS.-polls for me. ------------- progressive rock and rural tranquility don't match. true or false? |
