I'm looking to get into The Residents, but I don't know where to start. I loved all of the tracks available here. I can usually get into really inaccessable stuff in just one or two listens, so I can usually just dive right in to the good stuff. Any suggestions?

I have been listening to a lot of stuff by The Resident's lately. My picks:

Commercial Album
Eskimo
Heaven and/or Hell (both compilations, but very good)
Duck Stab/Buster and Glen

Really, they're all great, but I think the Commercial Album may be the best place to start.

By the way, if you like The Residents, you should also check out Snakefinger and other Ralph Records label artists. Good stuff.

All good recommendations - personally I'd go for Duck Stab/Buster & Glen first, if only for the dazzling Sinister Exaggerator.

My favorite album is Duck Stab/Buster Glen which I thinks is also a good place to start.
One of their more accessable ablums as well.

BTW, Have you done a search on "the residents" on the forums?
There are plenty of threads already asking this question, you may also get some ideas from them.

I also recommend Animal Lover.  It's pretty easy to get and it's an excellent album by the Residents.  Of course, anything you can get of their's is worth checking out.
