If it is anything like the revamped 11th House Revisited (Coryell, Jeff Berlin, Alfonse Mouzon and Tiger Ogoshi(???)) tour about 5 or 6 years ago, the intimacy of  the Jazz Cafe, will mean Larry Coryell will be more than happy to talk to  the audience between sets. Then, after brief chat with Coryell and Mouzon (he'll talk especially if you are buying CDs from him!!!), I spent 30 minutes talking with Jeff Berlin - who couldn't believe anybody would remember his part in Bruford.

So who is in his band - if anybody?

By the way if you want a near distant cousin of 11th House, ((heavier jazz rock, recorded in the late 90's) check out (Steve Clarke's) Network's Highly Commited Media Players (Wenlock Records), on which Jack Bruce and Larry Coryell play

I think the lineup will be Larry Coryell, Lenny White and Victor Bailey

Hopefully he will be in as good a mood as when you saw him above.

I should add it is actually 2 nights Monday 30th & Tuesday 31st.

Have you heard their album Electricity, one of my least favourite jazz rock albums released last year (somebody cut the power supply) - with the label they are on, they probably spent more time worrying about the ambiance than the contents. Compared with earlier but recent albums released separately by the three named artists (specifically check out Coryell's album with Steve Smith and Tom Coster onTone Center Records), I was expecting a tighter and more franetic record - hopefully the live performance will be a lot better. However, how often do you get to see world class musicians close up?
