Godspeed You Black Emperor. They are great.

Many people like Sigur Ros. Not me, however...

Hidria Spacefolk, Ozric Tentacles and Kingston Wall are good if you like... em... something "trippy" (I think I have created the word, maybe...

Skipping previously mentioned bands...

Planet X, Therion, Neal Morse, Paatos, Niacin, Coheed and Cambria,

I'm drawing a lot of blanks. There are a bunch I could list, but they're not really coming to me.

Looking at what you've experienced so far, we have a lot in common for modern bands. I've heard every one of those groups, and enjoy certain albums from each, especially Transatlantic and The Flower Kings. So with that in mind, I suggest:

Echolyn

Magic Pie

Riverside

Anekdoten

Anglagard

Pain of Salvation

and maybe Spock's Beard
