Metaepitome has been getting more than it's fair share of play time since I got it. These bunch of young finnish guys seem to have a good formula going. Interesting that PA classes them as Symphonic Prog, but they class themselves as Art Rock. Though they produce very long songs, I think I would go with their description of themselves, only because there is nothing surprising in what they do, but what they do is very good.

Anybody able to compare their first one with Metaepitome- similar or different?

I've listened to Metaepitome maybe 5 or 6 times by now, and the debut maybe 2 or 3 times. I find that the second album is much better, although the first is not bad. Maybe in a year I won't be so vague about it. Time forms all opinions.

I forgot to mention on their website, there's song from both their albums you can download for free. At least last time I checked...

I suggest it!
