Deadsoul Tribe's latest The January Tree is an excellent album that reminds me of all things, Tool or A perfect Circle  . If you get a chance

Does it have any softer tunes, like Time and Black Smoke and Mirrors from A Murder of Crows?

 I really dug those tunes, more prog-less metal. Devon plays some wicked flute.

After an extended time period, I've decided that this is a must-hear for any fans of Tool or A Perfect Circle.  Fantastic album, I'll have a review of it coming up shortly.

YES!  This album is excellent!  I bought this one when it came out hoping for growth in the sound, and I was pleased.  Devon Graves is getting better with every album.

The January Tree is an excellent album; I'd say it's like a cross between Tool and Porcupine Tree.
