I think some works of Tthe who are prog , they are the precurssors of opera rock, like tommy and others, what do you think? thanks.

I think that you have a little validity, but it should be discussed in the correct section: Suggest Bands/artists

Not really.
 
They are just short songs connected together. Even The Wall is more proggy than those albums, and I don't consider The Wall "Prog Rock".

I think there have been quite a few threads suggesting The Who, but the overall feeling is "no".
