Are you aware of Beyond Twilight album "For the love of art and the manking" ? If not take a look...by now it has 15 reviews...and they are all 5 stars!!! Thats it, just 5 stars! Not even one 4...nothing! I have never seen something like this...well, I do not own nor have heard the album...yet! But...wow! 15 5 stars reviews...could this be one of the ultimate prog albums in history?...Whats going on?
I specially would like to hear the opinions of the Prog metal specialist!!!Wink...but of course feel free to comment as always!

Have the previous album but have only listened a couple of times so it hasn't sunk it but I like it so far.  Intrigued by the new album but it is a bit short for my taste.  And Sea of Tranquility only gave it 3.5 stars and didn't exactly praise it up and down so that turned me off a bit.  But with 15 5's, will investigate further.

I only listened to large parts of it once but i think 3-4 stars would be alright

these 5-star-ratings are overrating it (can i say it this way?)

its quite a burden to hear it for the first time, but so was close to the edge (i love it now though). but unlike CTE, FTLOAATM has a lot of parts that just sound the same (ok, there are many parts of different movements or sections but still... .

the fact that its just one big song that doesnt have a climax (at least i havent heard it yet) makes it kind of a turndown when you think "wow, this has 5 stars all the way, it has to be very good", but besides that it was ok. i dont usually grasp the grandeur of a masterpiece when I listen to it the first couple of times anyway...

well maybe i will have to listen to it a few times to be able to judge it right, but 5 stars are definitely too many

I like BT,especially their debut with the incomparable Jorn Lande on vocals.

But I haven't heard the new album yet so I can't comment on it either.

i downloaded a rip of it, and i think it's absolutely incredible. i ordered the album straight away after just a couple of listens (although it hasn't arrived yet, maybe tomorrow :P ). i think it's well worth checking out, 40 minutes long and it's intense pretty much the whole way through. vocals are excellent, but not my favourite ever. the music is really fast and powerful in sections, but there's also a lot of calmer more soothing stuff. there's something for everyone. i'd definitely recommend a purchase. (google for their website and you can stream a short sample).

There is only one word for this album. MASTERPIECE.

The ratings match the album. This is by far the best progalbum I've heard in the last 5 years.

Recommend it to any proghead with trained ears or any musician. 5 stars!!!!!

^ I listened to it briefly in a store ... it sounds nice, but I'm not sure if it has enough "substance" for these high ratings. We'll see (hear) ...

It is not only here on progarchives that the album is getting good reviews. The album is album of the month in all the big magazines and on numerous sites everywhere. 15-16 countries. Until now Germany is the only country left where the album is not album of the month. There is a reason for that.

The album is absolutely amazing. Also my candidate for album of the year.

All I can say about it is - that it is too expensive. 19 EUR for half an hour of music?

I'm waiting for someone to sell it on Ebay ... Big smile

Man you must buy your CD's at the most expensive place on the planet. You can easily buy this album and other albums for 13 Eur. Just google it or use another search machine :-) The prices you pay are way too much. Anyway the album would be worth 19 Eur and its 40 minutes of music. All the BT albums are between 40-45 minutes. It is one of the trademarks of the bands. Very cool. Like the records. No fillers only killers on this album

I bumped it off my recent purcahase, but next time around I'll probably grab it.
