HI, PROG COLLABORATORS, THIS IS CESAR INCA.

I'd like t osuggest Peruvian jazz-fusion ensamble DON GATO for the Archives. Their music is very colorful and dynamic, going beyond your usual avarage jazz-fusion at enriching their sound with the incorporation of elements from bossanova, symphonic prog, funky and textures from the Peruvian Coast folkore. Their material contains room for well-balanced improvisation, yet it remains highly melodic and evocative. Yo uca ncheck their Myspace blog at http://www.myspace.com/dongatoperu - http://www.myspace.com/dongatoperu : there you[l lfind 4 tracks from their 2005's "!Zas!" album.

I hope you like it and consider it worth including here. I really think they do.

   Kind regards.

Attention all jazz-rock specialists at the Archives!!

There has been soe interesting, positive feedback on the DON GATO thing. Someone should have noted it already and someone should be doing something about it for the sake of promoting good different music worldwide. THAT'S WHAT PROGARCHIVES IS ALL ABOUT ESSENTIALLY!!

Nice fusion jazz stuff with some adventurous acoustic passages...I second this addition. The leader and guitarist is a cool guy.Wink
