DOCTOR NERVE SHOULD BE HERE RIGHT NOW!!

This amazing American ensemble, that takes the standards of RIo to a higher level of complexity and bizarreness via the patent use of avant-garde disharmonies, aggressive guitar riffs and rhythmic vibes, wind instruments' polyphonies, a mixture of visceral construction and adventurous improvisation.

They shouldn't have been left unnoticed here for so long, and they certainly don't deserve to be so overlooked... especially now that the doors are wide open for so many so called prog-related acts (let alone that mixed bag that now has come to be the art-rock category).

Alert to all avant-prog experts in ProgArchives!!

   Kind regards.

Yes I will definately back this statement up. People will be able to find sample songs from numerous of the band releases on the bands label page, which is none other than Cuneiform Records.

I agree with Cesar on this band being added here.

Cesar read my reply to this and other suggested bands by you today on the Pochakaite Malko thread you made.

Avestin, now that you and the rest of the specialists' team have showed accurate criterion at adding OCTOBER EQUUS into the Archives, I suggest the same be done abour DR. NERVE. Their style is even more challenging and refreshing within the usual boundaries of RIO and they're more veteran. They don't deserve to be postponed and their records are reviewed elsewhere.

   Kind regards.

Joren added them to the RIO/Avant list of bands to vote on.
Adam (Black Velvet) and I have already voted yes, and once one more member votes yes (we need 3 out of 5), I will add them asap.

Thanks,

Assaf

Way to go, man!!

Oh, by the way, the guys in October Equus are very pleased to see their discography listed in the Archives. I thought you'd like to know.

Kind regards.

Hi Cesar,

I am working now on their biography, but it is not going as smooth as other additions I've done. I wrote several paragraphs, focusing on their history and will do some more on the music itself.
However, do you have any good and clear source for their historic background?
I seem to be a bit at lost with their first years and changing lineups and names (Defense Spending, Crow, Lethal Injection and the CMS period).

Thanks,

Assaf

The GEPR entry is quite detailed: you might as well rewrite a reduced version of it with your own words, while crediting the inspiration. Also, you can check out this source http://launch.yahoo.com/ar-313542-bio--Doctor-Nerve - http://launch.yahoo.com/ar-313542-bio--Doctor-Nerve
