The answer can be found in hearing what actors have to say. almost invariably, an actor in a hero/villain movie would prefer the villain role, because it is almost always "meatier." for example, many great actors have played villains - Hackman, Hopkins, Spacey et al - but these actors have eschewed "hero" roles (which is different from being a "good guy.").
Give me a chance to play either Superman or Lex Luthor, and I'll choose Lex Luthor every time.

Since the question is who's got more attitude, it was always going to be the villain that wins this, theyve got nothing to hold them back.
