Semantically it may be (and may be not) right, but I would not put it in the same row with musical events.

As I was so lucky to witness it (and don't start with that blasted review, please...), I voted for Roger Waters's DSOTM tour. Syd's death was a very sad thing, but certainly no musical event.

Saw Waters in Roskilde, Denmark, and believe me: I will never forget it. I was pretty dissapointed with the singer in "Great gig" though. Anybody feel the same? Luckily that was the only negative aspect.They played DSOTM and all the classic PF tunes. Plus some of my personal, but less-known, favorites, like Sheep, Have a Cigar and Fletcher Memorial Home. -------------  You've just had a heavy session of electroshock therapy, and you're more relaxed than you've been in weeks. |

I have only read a review of Roskilde, but it was enthusiastic, and this newspaper is not exactly progressive magazine (they write quite a lot about this style) but they described it as the best performance of the whole festival, beating their favourite Placebo, Jack White and Franz Ferdinand ------------- yet you still have time! |
