sunday mornig[myn day off ] i had breakfast with my wife and i was listen to annie haslam ''blessing in disguise''[what a great album!!] and it is a perfect album for a erly sunday morning.so what album do you think is good to listen in the morning .maybe opeht is too much noise to listen in the morning ..or maybe not ------------- Nothing can last there are no second chances. Never give a day away. Always live for today. |

GÄA's "Morgendämmerung" is a wonderful song describing a morning feeling. The beginning of it has about two minutes of clocks silent ticking, and some dreamy ethereal sound start to slowly emerge from it, finally as the guitar chords reach the certain peak, the drums start a different rhtyhm and the composition jumps to another key, making a surprising and confusing mood change fitting at least my feelings of getting up and being stil half asleepl. Later the song turns to a more gentler blues number, which could play in the background whilst drowning to espresso and croisant when reading news of latests wars on the paper.

If I happen to get up in the morning I will listen to just about anything. The only times I will limit what I want to listen to is when I'm not feeling well, In witch case something soft like Sigur Ros, Saens second album- Escaping From The Hands Of Gods etc. ------------- Spending more than I should on Prog since 2005  |

 Excellent album indeed! I bought it at Pickup Records in Bassano... As I get up very early in the morning (especially lately), I don't put on music immediately, as I don't want the neighbours to find any excuses to complain (not the nicest people in the world, I'm afraid..). So, I start putting records on at about 8.30 a.m., and usually anything goes... even rather loud, energetic classic metal will do! This morning, though, the first and only listen I had was Jefferson Airplane's "Crown of Creation". |

I'm as guilty as the next of producing such typos (usually in piece typed with a rush of thoughts and words) - but to this reader, there is a certain pleasure when somebody else's spelling error, accidental word transcription or as here anagram of the original, still creates a legible/understandable word or phrase. Recently I unconsciously reported Mahavishnu Orchestra's Birds Of Fire as Birds of Flame. (Dick's lexia??).
Must be many others around?

On sunny sunday mornings I always play some prog folk. It sets the nice and quiet mood for the rest of the day and it always reminds me of the beautiful nature. One good example is Broselmaschine -------------

agreed.. i cannot listen to prog right after i'm up...it's only happened very few times.. i usually put some classic metal too. preferably, Metallica, Paradise Lost or even GnR... ------------- -music is like pornography... sometimes amateurs turn us on, even more... -sometimes you are the pigeon and sometimes you are the statue... |
