What do have these songs in common? Only a same word in their name? I feel there is a similar atmospeher in some parts of Machine Messiah like in Welcome To The Machine...

Which of these two songs do you like more?

Only got Drama this last week, though I had heard Machine Messiah before. It is a decent tune, but nowhere near the class of Welcome To The Machine.

Easy choice for me :)

I haven't heard "Machine Messiah" in years, though I remember it being easily the best track on "Drama". In any case, I'd have voted for "Welcome to the Machine", one of PF's most intense, chilling songs.

"Machine Messiah" is quite a good song, only quite a good song. Nothing more. Yes has created much more interesting songs in his career.
"Welcome To The Machine" is one of the most excellent songs --> not only in discography of Pink Floyd, but in music history.

Pink Floyd.

MACHINE MESSIAH

great song!!! Not just maybe the best on DRAMA but maybe on of the best in Yes career........

Even I`m not a huge fan of PF so my vote is not objective... (jejejeje)...

Thumbs Up FOR YES!!!

"Welcome to the Machine"

Drama is one of Yes' best albums, and Machine Messiah is Drama's best song. It took me a good while to discover the absence of Jon in that one! (Sorry Jon).

Welcome to the machine is too long, and the voices are awful. I don't remember any other PF song sung so ugly. But I like the keyboard melody in the middle....anyway, machine messiah.

I like Tormato, so shoot me! Every person in the world can't think the same.

It's tough but I'd say Machine Messiah. It's more upbeat and it's composed a lot better.

Love Yes, not too keen on Floyd but must admit in this case Welcome To The Machine is better.

The ending to Machine Messiah is better than the whole of Welcom to the Machine. That's chilling.

I’m a fan of both songs, Machine Messiah is the better of the two in my opinion, more interesting and challenging that Welcome to the Machine.

Machine Messias. Fantastic guitar work by Steve Howe.

I'm gonna say 'Welcome to the machine' but they're very different songs and difficult to compare. MM is the best song on 'Drama' and generally a very good Yes song.

WTTM is atmospheric masterpiece. It's one of those PLAY LOUD songs. The tension achieved by Waters voice and Wrights synth work is amazing.
