Very few people have had the priviledge of hearing this album, but I highly recommend it. I've looked for a long time to try to find where to buy it, and can only come up with one spot. http://vorptrecords.com/info/menu.htm - http://vorptrecords.com/info/menu.htm I've done as much research on the band as I can find on the internet, and it seems that when they created the album, their "friend" lent them some money and helped them produce the album. Later he screwed them out of any profits from the album, claiming all rights to the profits. The band went broke and hasn't produced more than a few EP's since then. The website 'vorpt records' is run by one of former band members. I also think that the vauxdvihl category should on PA should be updated to include Vog and the Siberian Church Recordings. If you like deep, philsophical metal, I highly suggest this album. It's magnificent and it builds so well. -------------

haven't heard it for a long time now but I remember it's a very good prog album

I have Vog and Siberian Church as well. I like all of them. Vog was a bit strange leaning towards Depeche Mode but still had 3 good songs. Siberian Church had 3 good songs and 1 weird outro. I hope they will record again. In the meantime I am waiting for Mechanical Organic's first album by Eddie Katz (former bass player). |

| I bought them (the eps) from Gemm in the last year or so. Century Media used to carry Vog. I tried emailing Vorpt at the time, no one ever replied. To Dimension Logic I boght from some place called orbit used. |

One of the finest bands in the early nineties prog metal scene, along with Leviathan or Without Warning, a generation that somehow didn't last very long and didn't make an impact. I like the album very much, but the obvious Fates Warning influence keeps it from being a truly singular moment in their style. Vog seemed pretty much like a failed experiment to me, so I'd rather think of them as a one-album band (which kind of favours the "cult" status suggested by some reviewers  ).------------- Tous les chemins qui s’ouvrent à moi ne mènent à rien si tu n’es plus là |
