Prog band's have the coolest names... but it's not that easy to come up with a good one, I suppose.

I play in two bands : One is called 'Oddyssey' (no typing mistake, just an odd odyssey), and is in a prog metal vein
The other, in french : 'Parabole', is a french hard rock prog band.

Yes, there's a German thrash metal band by that name, formed back in the eighties. They have some member connections with Sieges Even.

Well, it's no worse than Crosby, Stills & Nash or Van Halen. Plus it had a nice lilt to it, at the time was fairly original, and allowed each member to be identified as important musicians from The Nice, Crimson and Rooster. |

I'm not very good at naming bands.
Had to name a band once, they were emo, called them Exit Above.

I have a prog band, but we dont have a name...so I was seeing if I like any...and no I used to have a band with the same bassist (well, you can hardly call them a band...we didnt have a drumer) and the name was Son of none...its not bad, but its way to dark...in an Evanescence way...and I hate Evanescence  I want something with Fibonacci... maybe Fibonacci´s sequence  , you tell me if you like it...and keep em coming!------------- "You want me to play what, Robert?"

Yes, something like "Eleven Shades of Fibonacci" would sound pretty cool (basically because it would be totally meaningless)... But it would have to be a post rock band, and the first album would have to be entitled "Postmodern Algebra for Chamber Rock Ensemble and Choir".

mmm...  hehehe Actually, we still need to discuss it with the drumer, but me and the bassist like Secuencia Fibonacci (its the same but in spanish...somehow it sounds better than in english)... so the fisrt album would have to be named One...the second also One, the third Two...the fourth Three, the fifth Five, the sixth Eight... and so on...jejejej ------------- "You want me to play what, Robert?"
