Clive Nolan's latest project goes under the name of Caamora.

The press release has the following details (with due thanks to Clive for getting in touch with the inforamtion):

CAAMORA

A brand new partnership but a well-known face… Nolan’s search for "that unique female voice" is over. The journey begins…

What is Caamora?

Caamora represents the partnership of Clive Nolan and Agneiszka Swita in a lavish and creative collaboration. They provide the artistic nucleus to an extravagant and imaginative musical experience. Their first big production will be a musical version of the novel, ‘She’, due for release in 2007.

Who are they?

Clive Nolan: Keyboard Player (Arena, Pendragon, Neo and Shadowland)

Producer (Arena, Shadowland, Strangers on a Train, Casino)

Writer (Arena, Shadowland, Strangers on a Train, Casino)

Clive has amassed over a million album sales, and continues to be in great demand as a keyboard player and singer, as well as writer and arranger. His past experience of working with orchestras and choirs has also proved to be invaluable for the ‘She’ project.

Agneiszka Swita: ?

When did they meet?

Clive and Agneiszka first met in February 2005. They gelled immediately and discussed the possibility of working together. In March, Agneiszka returned to the UK from her homeland of Poland, and recorded some material with Clive. This included what became the first song written for the ‘She’ project. As a result of this fruitful session they decided to form Caamora.

What are they working on?

The musical version of ‘She’ is based on the classic novel of the same name by Victorian adventure writer H. Rider Haggard. Spearheaded by Clive and Agneiszka, this epic production will feature guest vocalists, instrumentalists, orchestra and choir, forming a two-hour musical journey.

An album will be recorded in the summer of 2007, with a partly staged performance to be filmed in a theatre for DVD in September 2007. The album and DVD box set is planned for release in October 2007.

When are they playing?

Caamora will perform some ‘two man’ shows in November. This will feature some exclusive previews of material from the forthcoming ‘She’ project, as well as material from Nolan's extensive back catalogue. So far dates have been booked in the UK, Holland, Belgium, Germany and South America.

Get ‘Closer’ to Caamora…?

This EP, called "Closer", will be presented in the names of Clive Nolan and Agneiszka Swita, and will feature back catalogue material written by Clive, as well as some new material from the ‘She’ project. The music has been arranged and recorded specially for this limited one off release. It will be available exclusively at concerts, and through the web site.

What tracks will the EP include?

1. Half Moon Street - A reworking of a Shadowland song.

2. World Somewhere - Originally written as part of the ‘She’ album

3. Sacrifice- A wonderful new orchestrated version of the Strangers on a Train song.

4. The Bonding – This song will feature on the ‘She’ album.

5. Closer – A track written especially for the EP.
