Ett ??? Embarrassed
Er.J.Orchestra, Paris To Kiev, etc are prior to Karfagen in Ukraine scene. But I believe Karfagen is the best Ukraine progressive rock band. Continium is listed on my top 20 of 2006.

Karfagen released a new album in January. Samples available http://www.unicornrecords.com/mp3.html - here (scroll down). It's not added to the database yet.

I enjoy Continium a bit... although it's not really something that gets me particularly excited. I must have listened to it three times so far and it's very relaxing, that I can say. I also think highly of some of the piano and keyboard parts, but the rest of the instruments don't really get a chance to shine, although it's completely instrumental music most of the time; the drums for instance are pretty bland and unimaginative. The truth is the production doesn't exactly help either - the whole thing sounds kind of "thin"... Anyway, if the next album is a little more adventurous, I'll definitely be interested in it.

Edit: I listened to the samples from the new one and they don't sound bad at all. I hear a slightly darker overtone... and the piano number is very nice, moreso than the similar interludes on the debut. I think it's good if I keep an eye on them after all. Smile
