Cool ! Fripp worked on the start-up sound for Windows Vista. It took 18 months?

Does anyone remember the Eno sound from Windows 95? Believe it or not, I do. Well.. I remember it being Brian Eno, I don't remember what it sounded like.
 Anyway, It fits in my theory that everyone has heard Fripp, Eno or (more likely) Tony Levin and just not realized it.
Any other prog musicians that you know of that have the "mainstream" in this way? TV commercials, movie soundtracks or any other music that "more people know than know who it is"?

Dunno if this falls into the same catagory, but I remember months ago flipping channels on my TV only to be stopped by a familiar sound. When I stopped in my tracks, turns out I was watching MTV's "Pimp My Ride" using Porcupine Tree's "Strip The Soul" as background music. I actually downloaded a Nissan (or some other such car company) commercial in which an instrumental cut of the opening to Thick as a Brick is playing in the background. Explosions in the Sky also did music for Friday Night Lights, their stuff is on the television show as well. Several tracks from SKY (mostly solo stuff from the members) and Anthony Phillips were used on commercials and television, mainly in the UK and AUS. Many Prog artists, believe it or not, are involved in the phenomenon known as library music (AKA music for commercials, jingles, television, films, etc..). There was a detective show in the 70s that was very popular (don't remember the name). I was watching an episode in which there was an inevitable chase scene. I reconised the music. I don't know if you guys out there in your other parts of the world understand that which is "public access," but it's a TV station where any old loser can have his show. Just installed Vista RTM (final) for testing purposes and there are no 'fripptronics'... In fact, the sounds in Vista are worst than XP's... anyone knows what happened? Did they spend 18 months and dropped the project? EDIT: I just read on the net that the Vista startup sound is indeed Fripp's... I'm very very sad to say that, as I love Fripp's work, but it SUCKS BIG TIME!!!!! I can't believe MS stressed Mr Fripp for 18 months and actually ended up using only 4 seconds... Of course they'll say they wanted 'simplicity', so why did they hire Fripp in the first place? The guy is used to play 20 minute-plus songs, but 4 seconds?!?!?! WHY?!?!?!
