Cant decide. I'm still in training where Brian Eno is concerned. I've owned 'Ambient 1: Music for Airports' for many years, and occassionally give it a spin if I cant sleep. I'm not being critical there, it really is good for falling asleep to.. Just recently I purchased 'Another Green World' and 'Here come the Warm Jets' I'm tackling the 'Warm Jets' first, and it sounds like Roxy Music on acid; a kind of glam punk prog nightmare! I love it!  I guess I know Eno the best as a producer, who has worked with too many artists to list, and was responsible for the 'Enossification' of Peter Gabriels voice on 'The Lamb..' Oh, yes and I like 'My life in the Bush of Ghosts' with David Byrne. It's a little patchy, IMO, but I love 'Regiment' that is a damn fine tune! ------------- Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy! |

Here Come the Warm Jets is definitely one of my favorite albums ever, it's so unique and experimental, yet very catchy and accessible. Every time I listen to it there's a new dimension of enjoyment to be found! -------------

I voted "influential Producer". I've heard that he's taken over albums by other people and overdubbed his own music, mixed it differently, changed songs around, etc. Very Influential indeed!!! |

Brian Eno is a true genius! He has made some of the most beautiful music ever.
