Hey everyone.  I just wanted to let you know that we just released the second part of our interview with Jakko Jakszyk who participated in our last podcast recording on December 9th.

We cover his history and present, chatting up a bit on his latest album, "The Bruised Romantic Glee Club".  Part two has several samples off of the album for you to check out.

If this sounds remotely interesting to you, please see my website:

Or the direct links to the two parts:

TO MR.CRIMSON;
Can you please tell us if Jakko has indicated whether the SCHIZOID BAND is dead in the water?
Will log on and listen but won't get the time for a while yet. Thanks.

Might be able to cast some light on that when Jakko joins me live for 3 hours for my radio show next Thursday

I have not specifically asked Jakko that, but I can say my personal feeling is that it is quite possible they will get back together again.  I'd love to see them do another album.

All of the players generally seem to like each other quite well, and beyond the current commitments many of the players have, I don't see it being outside of the realm of what may be. ;)

Thank you to all who have/are listened to the Jakko interview.  If anyone wants a copy of his latest album, post a comment under the shownotes, as we'll be having a drawing for it.

Thanks guys. My query about this is running in tandem with the thread I started 'Bruised Romantic Glee Club' in 'recommendations' which Dick you have contributed to with thanks . I don't mean to be causing duplication but I and no doubt others will still be keen to know. Thanks again.

As IMHO The Bruised Romantic Glee Club is the best prog album of the 2006 - and because of PA's usual inflexibility doesn't register on the thread entitled: the best prog album of the 2006 - and I'm all for shouting out about Jakko Jakszyk's music, I have no problem with two threads about Jakko running simultaneously. Let the news out, we are about the musican and his music, not who got in here first.
