Occasionally, I browse the archives here at ProgArchives (archives, archives), and just listen to audio clips while reading artist biographies, usually of random bands I haven't heard of in a meager yet effective method of expanding my horizons.

Somewhere along the line, I heard two bands I really enjoyed. Now, on a note, they are both instrumental, prog metal, and from Chile.

The fact that there are no vocals is a plus.I know I don't like Fate's Warning or Areyon (gave it a shot, sorry guys....Disapprove) because their singers sound like someone has strategically removed their testicles (says Shwang, who loves Rush, The Mars Volta, Coheed, and King Diamond....). So I can focus on what's most important: the actual instruments.

So they have unique sounds. Really heavy, but well constructed, not like your typical heavy band, unpredictable, yet it flows.....

give it a shot. look them up. Good stuff, guys, you have my seal of approval.
