A. Holdsworth left so there is more room for Jobson to show his talents on this album.
But i have never heard his solo outputs

UK's debut album for me, though Jobson is great in all three of them (the live is called "Night AFTER Night", btw). "Air Cut" is also a favourite of mine. However, there's something missing from the above list: Roxy Music's stunning "Viva!" live album. Eddie's violin solo at the end of "Out of the Blue" is nothing short of amazing. |

voting for UK's debut is way too obvious, this is why i decided to go for
ZiNC-the green album – which is quite a good record actually and hasn't aged that badly. ------------- progressive rock and rural tranquility don't match. true or false? |

Exactly. I love the Bruford / Holdsworth contribution on the first U.K. album, but Eddie's finest hour for me is on Danger Money.

Excuse me for being picky but aren't most of these not Jobson "projects" (the UKs and the "solo" albums qualify for sure). I do happen to have all of these on CDs, and of course Viva, too. And maybe some others you left out. I can't pick a favorite though. My head might explode or something. I'm leaning towards Zinc, notable for Gentle Giant's Gary Green's appearance. UK UK probably made the strongest impression on me. ------------- Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...
