Hi there, my first post. What a great website Smile

Can anybody update me on what's happening to Satellite? They seem to have dropped off the prog map; even their website is no longer active.

The interviews on their dvd (Evening Dreams) pointed to such a lot of music to come forward....but alas Confused

Hopefully someone here knows what's up Smile

Colin

MySpace: Nice job Satellite, but still a lack of communication.

Oh well, I guess all good things come to those that wait and be patient.

So much reading to catch up on here, see you guys around hopefully Smile

Welcome demolition man ... Smile

I'm not sure if they are already together.

The only one I've heard from is Przemek Zawadzki
But he is not a band member on their last DVD release.

He's active as a member of the polish group BELIEVE.
They released an album last year which is quite good.

But their website link is also broken.

If I'm not mistaken, Mirek Gil, guitarist on the first Satellite album, and original member of Collage, is now with Believe as well.
Not sure what's happening with Satellite themselves though. I love both their albums, so hope they are going to produce a third one soon.

AND WELCOME COLIN! Nice to see you on here as well. Wink
You'll have to spread the word about MMEB on this site too!

Carl

Thanks mate, nice to see some familiar faces here. I've been lurking for a couple of years now, but when I couldn't find any info on Satellite I thought some bright spark here might know something SmileYes, Believe are great aren't they? In actual fact there are so many decent Polish Bands pumping out good neo prog. Another one is Sandstone. I'm sure they were listed on the main site here but they seem to have disappeared off list? Their first  album "Looking For Myself" is a winner for me and shows a lot of promise.

Anyway, as for MMEB, yes I'm sure there are a lot of fans here. Maybe one day I will start another thread all about the king of the mini moog and the tale of the genius on guitar which is Mick Rogers Smile

I have been on this site for four years, and I think it's one of the best sites around. Lots on offer here, plenty of info on bands and discographies etc. I look in most days. Great way of passing some time, whilst listening to some music as well!
Enjoy! Smile

As to Satellite, I'm not sure myself why their website is down. I looked in on them before their last album, Evening Games, and it was up and running then. You could see pics of them in the studio etc. Don't know what's happened to them. You'd think they would get it fixed though, as it is to their benefit to keep people informed and interested.
Let's hope they get round to it.
