Simple question I hope. I already have his solo debut and Rock Bottom and want to continue the journey with one of these three. The ratings here are all around the same, and I probably will eventually get all of them, just want to know which one people think is best/like more.

I've only heard the first two in the list and have yet to hear the Mercury Prize nominated Cuckooland yet. Having said that, Shleep is great, but I cannot say exactly which is the best between Ruth and Shleep... -------------

I've heard all the three. Eventually, as you've said, you'll got all of them.
I had some problems with Ruth Is Stranger Than Richard.
Cuckooland is an excellent album.
But out of these three I enjoyed Shleep the most...

I like Cuckooland for the nice Dave Gilmour guitar on Forest, but there is little to choose between them - they are all good. If you intend to buy them all eventually, then I'd take the journey chronologically and go for Ruth next. ------------- What? |

But every Wyatt albun is relevant; try also HOT ROTTENHAT!

I'm just myself in the deal of purchasing more and more Wyatt, till I have it all. Out of these three, I only know the first two, and I would say that Ruth Is Stranger Than Richard tops Shleep (I like Shleep too, just...).  As for me, I'll certainly get Cuckoland next, since I see it recommended. -------------

It all depends. CUCKOOLAND is excellent, but predominantly sad. SHLEEP is yet another masterpiece, and probably the most upbeat album Wyatt has ever done. RUTH is not so fantastic, but still worth owning. By the way, do you have SOFT MACHINE VOLUME TWO?

That's a really tough poll question, but since my first Wyatt solo album, Shleep, was my first, (I already had some of his Soft Machine material in my collection) I'd go there. The other two are quite good too, Cuckooland first and Ruth last. ------------- Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...
