I am not sure if Prog Lounge is the right place for this query, but...

I have just added the Golden Avatar album "Pastimes" to PA. The album has no info whatsoever regarding the record label (that I suspect is Sudarshan) or the year that the album was published. I can find nothing of use on the internet, either. (I had to use a year to list the album in PA, so the thumb suck I used was 1978 for no other reason than it is around the time that Micahel Cassidy from the band seemed to be quite active.)

Does anyone have access to the missing info, especially the correct year for the album Question If so, can you give the info to the Errors & Omissions team to correct the PA listing, please?

Just another word on this: The album cover lists the band as "Golden Avatara" on the front, and "Golden Avatar" everywhere else where the band name is mentioned. This may be of use if anyone has access to any other databases that may have the info under the "Golden Avatara" reference.

Golden Avatar is not really a band but a project/record of Michael Cassidy. I discovered his first record 'A Change Of hearts'  a while ago in a second hand record shop on vynyl and  I didn't knew the name of the band, but  I was attracted by the Rackham inspired front cover and the real Rackham back cover. Interesting fact Michael Cassidy himself changed the up-dates to the record  on PA (his name appears on the bottom)So he is either a PA member or at least  in touch with PA which would be a possibilty to have more complete infos about his music & projects.

here is the beautiful cover:

PS I just checked out , Michael Cassidy is a PA member, he registered last year maybe just to add the missing track lists, but he has an mail adress and IMO he would be happy to help out with  the missing infos:

Thanks, Martin. I have tried a PM first up.

I picked up "Pastimes" & "A Change Of Heart" last week. Some interesting Indian-influenced music. I am not sure about the Jazz Rock/Fusion slot for this band, though. ...a debate for another day!

^I agree with you Chris, even so there are some jazzy passages it's neither JazzRock nor Fusion, a very melodic world influenced music with nice arrangements. Crossover would be more appropriated for the first record IMO. I would be interested to have your opinion on the second.
