The Fantomas album I have pales in comparison to Mr. Bungle IMO. Then again maybe I got the wrong one who knows.

Bungle are one of my favorite bands, and without a doubt the best Patton project. Fantômas are awesome as well.

You should put "other" there, since he's done more than those...

^yep. although a lot of the "other" stuff is quite painful... Zorn/Patton/Mori is overlong and squicky, while General Patton was IQ shattering ;P on the other hand I think he worked on one of Bjork's albums, and none of those are ever bad.
I'll vote for Fantomas because I think the best Patton contribution to any album happens on Delirum Cordia. total 5 star brilliance.

Toss up between: Fantomas and Mr Bungle.
Going with Fantomas, they have a stronger body of works than Mr Bungle, imo. That being said I cannot remember the last time I've enjoy a whole album Patton has featured on.

Fantômas!
"Twin Peaks: Fire walk with me" is my most played track ever according to LastFm!
I do like Tomahawk and Peeping Tom from time to time though

I love Mr.Bungle...does Patton do anything more then vocals on the projects he "leads", like songwriting and stuff?

From what I know, Patton has written all of Fantômas' material (except Director's Cut), and some of Bungle's as well (in collaboration with the other band members).

Faith No More & Mr Bungle are equals. And some Fantômas stuff is "listenable"
I voted Faith no More

Mr. Bungle!! But cranking up Fantomas in your car with the windows down gets everyone around looking strangely at you. I love that!

Bungle(Just for DV, it's in my all time top 3, other albums aren't nearly as good)>Fantomas>Solo>Tomahawk>Peeping Tom(from what I've heard)>Faith No More(nice but too poppy and straightforward for moi)
Haven't heard Kaada/Patton yet.

It's not fair to make a poll like that on a Prog-Site....on each other Site at least 80 of 100 Votes would go for Faith No More so that's absolutely not representative.. I really like Mike Pattons more experimental stuff but it's still his work with Faith No More that made him famous and earned him the status as one of the best singers in the world (at least in the last 15 years)

As a complete and utter Patton fanboy, this poll is just me saying
ahahahahahahahaha MIKE PATTON GAHHHH LOVE
Mr. Bungle is amazing-est, (i think my top 3 all time albums are their studio albums), and I can't vote any other way
all of the guys in the band are so talented
and patton is a vocal virtuoso in every sense of the word
i can't say i've dislike anything he's done (and i love it all!) even his solo work (a true mark of a fanboy)
oh man i could go on forever....
and I might want to
if you need any more evidence, just look at my last fm (its really sad)
oh well
and I need to spread this message to PA
give bungle's self-titled and California a lot more love!

California is his best album, but I think Tomahawk is more consistantly pleasant.
(I hate Disco Voltante)

"Noob" flashback. I wondered what happened to Mike Patton after Faith No More disbanded. When I first started browsing on PA, I saw various posts referring to Mike Patton as a great singer and creative musician/lyricist, etc... I thought it was kind of funny that there was a prog guy with the same name as the Faith No More singer. Hmm...interesting, it is the same guy.
I purchased the Mr. Bungle debut when it came out in the early 90's. It didn't really leave an impression on me. I need to dust it off and give it a listen. I'm currently listening to the Mr. Bungle samples on PA. Kind of strange with a hint of Faith No More.
Also, I had 1 download left on my emusic account for the month, so I was trying to find 1 long song. I was able to download the Fantomas' Delirivm Cordia. Pretty cool being able to download 1 song and get 74 minutes of music? noise? I haven't listened yet, and the reviews kind of scared me, but I figured what the heck for one download.
I have abstained from voting at this point since I am not familiar with anything other than Faith No More.

Tomahawk
I liked their first album a lot, Mit Gas was pretty lame at times. But with Anonymous they reached a whole new level.

Angel Dus and Faith No More? Agreed with Mike, they're similar not only in that they feature vocals and guitars, but both have drums and basses, too! Now, besides those similarities.......
Faith No More, of the three I've heard: FNM, Mr. Bungle and Peeping Tom. FNM was great, MRB kind of incredible but too weird, and PT... I better not comment on that one...
