I would have to say Ahmet and Nasuhi Ertegun, founders of Atlantic Records. Among those who have been on the Atlantic Records roster over the years include the following: Ray Charles, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Led Zeppelin, King Crimson, Yes, Genesis, Rush, Dream Theater, and Porcupine Tree to name a few.

Splendid question!

About the answer there can be no doubt, of course: Dave and Richard Sinclair!

The Shulman bros. are a close second. But then there's also Pye Hastings and his elder brother Jimmy...

Hundreds of years ago...
God predicted that the end of good music was near.
God was right.
He saw the rise of talentless works being promoted into the mainstream.
Rap and hip hop were going to destroy us all
Punk rock followed under it, with their three power chords of doom.
All was thought to be lost...

God breathed in agony, but then...he had an idea.
He decided he would give up his musical abilities to two men.
He came down to earth and spoke to the young musicians...
He gave them originality and thought

This light...which would suppress talentless music for a decade.
The evil of which was growing...but these men held back the evil.
They unleashed their new-found power on the evil
The evil faded slowly away...
These men are spoken of by every musician as heroes
These heroes had names:
Eddie and Alex

I would have to agree with you, except for the fact that I believe Dave and Richard are actually cousins.

That leaves Derek, Ray and Phil for me.  Thumbs%20Up
