since mike patton is such an eccentric vocalist and has done so much in the music world, i was kind of curious as to what side of him everyone on this site likes most. the bands listed aren't all ones he's been a full time member of, and some are just collaborations he's done, so only count the albums he's appeared on.
personally, i like faith no more and mr. bungle

There was a similar poll recently.  Not sure if it is the same or not.

Wow, I had no idea Dillenger had any relation to Patton.

I'm torn, really, I love a good portion of his work with Bungle, Zorn and Fantomas.

I'm disappointed - neither of these players are avant-garde!

Al di Meola.

haha i know. but the poll itself is avant-garde

he did an e.p. called "irony is a dead scene" with dillinger. i think it's some of dillinger's best work, and i highly recommend it to you if you like either patton or the dillinger escape plan, as they work well with each other.  as much as i like their new singer, it would have been kind of cool to see patton be the full time singer.

I like Tomahawk the best.  Great songs on those albums, haven't heard the new on yet, but I'm sure its good.

As un-proggy as this may sound, right now I like his work with FNM best. Listening to Angel Dust you realise they were some of the most experimental mainstream acts of the 90s. I appreciate Fantomas but I just can't enjoy it that much. Haven't really gotten into Mr. Bungle though.

FNM, King For a Day was one of the greatest 90s albums, Angel Dust was also a monster and Album of the Year is not bad either; Mr Bungle comes as close second, their debut album is still one of my faves and Disco Volante is  awesome too. Tomahawk and Fantomas have very good stuff too, but... Faith No More is No1 for me
