From his offical website: http://chrissquire.com/ - http://chrissquire.com/

Chris is currently working on an album of traditional Christmas carols arranged for drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and choir. He hopes to have the album finished in early October.

Chris will continue recording tracks for his long awaited solo album in November, hopefully to be finished early in the new year.

Christmas carols = bad idea
Solo album = good idea

Just my opinion.

I'm having flashbacks to the horrendous Three Ships endeavor of his bandmate.  Thumbs%20Down

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

Yeah, F that...tell Squire to get Yes out of the nursing home and give us a decent follow-up to Magnification; one where Anderson can at least belt out some singing that's longer than 30 secs (see Glass Hammer's Culture of Ascent).  Le sigh.

Three Ships is one of the most overpriced CDs ever on Ebay auctions.  I heard it on cassette tape once along time ago before I was a Yes fan and collector.  I have not been able to track down a decently priced copy in the long time I have been looking for it.

That being said, I believe the 40 year anniversary of Yes is quickly approaching and it would certainly be nice to have a new album to go along with it instead of a repackaged greatest hits package with a 40 instead of a 35.

Why do all these " Old Folk" have to do Christmas Carol bullsh*t covers? Endorse mortality???

Give me a Chris Squire solo anyday to a new Yes album...or Father Christmas affirmationsSmile
