Daevid Allen (Lead singer and founder for Gong) has some magnificant solo albums in the vein of his space rock, acid head style which would fit perfectly on this website.

Daevid Allen Microcosmic is on here, so why not his actual solo career in full?

Albums like Bannanamoon, now is the happiest time of your life, and good morning are all fantastic and full of songs and ideas that scream prog in one way or another...Daevid Allen just "is" proggishly original.

Anyone agree?  Id love to see him get on here!Clap

EDIT: I mean, at times, now is the happiest time... almost sounds like Comus for Christ sake!!

I'll be getting his solo works very soon. If he has the potential to be in the Psych / Space genre (which I presume he does) then I'll add him.

Thanks Chamberry, I think you will be suprised at where he could fit on here...his solo albums are almost as versatile as the various changes Zappa went through.

I just purchased "Dreamin a Dream" from 1995, supposed to be a great album, LOVE Garden Song, find it his best work ever.

Not only as versatile as Zappa, but possibly even more prolific, especially if you include the Obscura series of 20 CDS. If you feel up to compiling the discography TLC, go right ahead!
