Shocked Now that the forum has been revamped again, and now that we have so many specific topic categories, certain old polls (2005 vintage) which have recently been resurrected in the prog poll section should be moved to more appropriate homes.

After all, we wouldn't want to add to the confusion around the term "prog," or create the impression that PA views all old metal, hard rock and classic rock  bands as "prog" acts, now would we? Wink

ConfusedThese are currently on the prog polls first page:

Favorite rock and roll band of all TIME!
http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=5097 - favourite metal band (2)
http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=5767 - best metal groups
http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=11896 - Deep purple or Rainbow

Thanks, Peter! Smile The first 3 moved... the Deep vs Rainbow was already moved (there's a discreet arrow showing its movement).

Cheers Peter,

As you'll appreciate, it would have been too big a job to relocate the threads in one go, especially as many of them will never be reactivated. (I suspect some of those you mention have always been in the wrong place!)

We'll keep an eye open for any which come to life again in the wrong section.Wink
