a bit belated, but I just read about it on the Gong homepage: Daevid Allen celebrated his 70th birthday on Sat, Jan 12th. happy birthday, you whacky old coot!

I last saw him live (with Brainville) a few months ago - he performed for more than 2 hours and was absolutely magnificent. I only hope I'm that energetic when I'm that old.
