Sleeping in traffic... continued
Current mood: relaxed

Hey guys!

Just wanted to keep you all updated in the ongoings of Roberts beard, it's getting really thick... nah, just kidding, I mean it is thick as all hell but that's not the deal we're dealing in. Instead I'm here to tell you that we've been recording - while you were at home with your loved ones, eating the traditional christmas smörgåsbord (that's a swedish word, I hope you know, with dots above the letters) and maybe opening some gifts and other cozy things WE were out in the middle of the woods outside of Gävle in a hired scout cabin, recording - for your pleasure - the next Beardfish album! Oh, yes we have a live one here. We recorded for five days, mainly focusing on getting the basic tracks as good as possible and we managed that in four days. Overdubs were made in an ongoing fashion and during the last day that was all we did, actually. We even had the time to lay down the vocal track for one of the songs right there in the cabin! When we got home I recorded the vocals during a couple of days and I am currently working with the sound.
Soooo, that means that in a near future "Sleeping in traffic: Part 2" will be available for your general adoring and loving as soon as all the artwork and mixing and mastering and bla bla bla bla is over and done with...

'til then, cheers - Rikard Sjöblom
