Sangrou (2007)

Their music is folky avant garde.  They have classical, folk, some rock, and a little bit of jazz in their music and I definitely think it should be added here.  Their recent album Sangrou is one of my favorites of 2007.  You can listen to their entire album at their Amplitude Site.

I have their album Sangrou; very interesting and creative, I like its eeriness and overall sound.
I wasn't sure whether to suggest it to the team or not (in any case, they're busy with some 80's and 90's avant rock albums right now...).
I'll bring it up.

Haha.  Thanks for checking it out.  And avestin, yeah the album can be quite dark in places, definitely unlike other samba I've ever heard.

As for me, I am all for inclusion in avant; I'll wait for comments of my teammates.

This is a refreshing and original take on music; I look forward to having them on PA.

Sounds good. I couldn't get onto the labels site listen to the whole album, but the samples on myspace were interesting. I wouldn't have any problems with them being added to the site.

ok, as it seems the other ZART members won't show up here, I'll add them based on Adam and my impressions.

Mecca, do you want to write the bio perhaps? (you'll be credited of course).
If not, I'll ask the band if I can use theirs.

Well, I didn't get any input from my ZART members apart from Adam, so I'll be adding this band shortly.
